Our technique workshops provide you with the opportunity to better understand and execute ballet steps with precision and skill. The workshops are a fantastic addition to regular classes, developing your ability to strategically set and achieve ballet goals relating to strength, flexibility, musicality and artistry.
They provide a solid foundation from which you can progress towards a higher quality of dancing and therefore experience more enjoyment and fulfilment. Dedicated time spent on specific ballet challenges helps us to become better dancers, assisting not only beginners with establishing good ballet basics, but also intermediate and advanced students with their ability to learn and artistically perform professional repertoire.
Ballet Basics, A beginners workshop: Learn 10 of the steps that lie at the heart of every iconic ballet

Join us for this one-off workshop designed to introduce adults to the fascinating world of ballet. Spend the morning learning and dancing 10 of the steps that underpin this beautiful and timeless art form, performed to some of ballet’s most magical and enchanting music. You will have the opportunity to learn how to artistically piece these moves together to form sequences and dance routines, taking inspiration from iconic ballets such as Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.

Strengthen and Stretch: Learn to Train like a Ballerina

Spend the morning training in true ballerina style! A brilliant and holistic introduction to the anatomy of flexibility and strength training. We will cover techniques to help you warm up, cool down and train correctly to reduce the risk of injury as an adult dancer. We will explore how to engage and release the appropriate muscles to maximise turnout, improve extensions and increase our active range of motion. We will also learn three stretching routines, incorporating a combination of the best techniques to help you achieve your splits, enhance back mobility, ankle and foot strength and more!
